  1. “Guru” has really gotten twisted by media. It means “bringer of light”. In the context of true yogic path it is one who guides students through a journey. Much like a good coach. Like many other words, it’s been stripped of its truest meaning.
A person who calls themselves either coach or Guru is neither. They’re a person with the right outfit.
    Thanks Coach Gambetta!

  2. Well said, Vern.
    A couple more, same point:
Guru = product; coach = process
Guru = destination; coach = journey
Guru = promises to the promised land; coach = principles upon which practice stands
