I understand what the intent of the saying is, however in reality it doesn’t make sense.
If a fact is indeed “spun” it is no longer a fact and has become false. Both facts and truth can be spun to become false.
Yeah I know, I’m seeing the trees amd not the forest, not the big picture. However how many times have we seen what we thought was a forest only to find that upon closer inspection were not trees atv all?
That’s a good reminder. In the fitness biz, I get bogged down by all the supposed research out there confirming “such and such to be fact.” The conclusions that are drawn from study results are often awfully weak when you really look into it. I must ask myself, how did we get this “truth” from these “facts?”
