I have read all the books, but to see the images and hear the interviews made
the depth and magnitude of the systematic doping in the GDR even more unbelievable.
In many ways this resembles the Holocaust, there are many people who were
involved in it who still will not own up to their involvement. The scary part of
all of this is that this stuff is still going on today. If anything it is more
pervasive because the monetary stakes are even higher.

The crime is one of officialdom, they do not see themselves personally responsible. This sums up the doping problem, worldwide.
